I have thoughts. Maybe, God will speak through me and through this blog to someone else. If one person is touched by something He says to them through 'nightwatch', I am dancing :)Christ is my life. Psalms 30:11,12 (AMP) You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness. To the end that my tongue and my heart and everything glorious within me may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

The Way
Some evangelism quotes brought forth by Guy at the M Blog today.....lead me to this one that kind of pinched me today or is that punched me...... posted by tentmaker quotes.
'Not called!' did you say? 'Not heard the call,' I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their father's house and bid their brothers and sisters and servants and masters not to come there. Then look Christ in the face -- whose mercy you have professed to obey -- and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world.

Quite the little guilt trip. If you let yourself be manipulated.
Booth as I understand it founded NOT A CHURCH but an ARMY. They do NOT do communion; leadership are not considered pastors and they do NOT baptise.
I think there is an under evaluation of the Holy Spirit's role and our obedience to Him.
I do solidly believe every day we bear witness to Christ and be vigilant to point the way. He is our life...we won't be idle and there will be no shame when I eye ball Him.
In Him ~8)
Great quote by William Booth. I saw this one also on one of the pages where I gleaned the other quotes--just too many good ones to post them all!
